***A special community-wide gathering is scheduled for Novemebr 11 at the Virginia Theatre, Champaign (more detials to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Our goal for meeting is to worship God, pray, build community, and seek His leading for our area (over 30 churches are represented by those who attend).

So far, these are things we feel God is leading us toward:

-invite local Christian leaders in schools, government, business, and other major influencers to our gatherings to be prayed over on an occasional basis.

-encourage churches/congregations to consider being host families as an outreach to internationals.

-our meetings are a microcosm of what we wish to see city-wide; i.e., our goal is to gather all the Christians in the city sometime next year to a corporate prayer/worship meeting to simply pray for the city, that God would move and we, as His people, would be on mission. In other words, we have been modeling on a small level what we hope to see at a larger level.

We gather on the first and third Thursday of every month.  We always finish up the evening on or before 8:30 pm.

We meet at the Great News Media Center, Market Place Mall, Champaign. Located between LensCrafters and Old Navy, enter through our private outside entrance under the Great News Media sign. I hope you can attend, and please invite other like-minded passionate followers of Jesus. 🙂
